Formed in 1954, Downshire Rifle Club is one of the oldest rifle clubs in Northern Ireland. The Club is administered by an 11-person Board of Directors (Committee) democratically elected by the membership and depends on voluntary assistance from the membership to function. Run as a not-for-profit organisation, we are affiliated to the Northern Ireland Smallbore Shooting Association and the National Smallbore Rifle Association and are members of the Community Association of Sports Clubs.

The 4-acre range complex, located near Hillsborough in Co. Down, comprises 3 ranges (Indoor, Outdoor and Airgun) plus associated club rooms and utility areas which provide excellent facilities for:

Shooters with limited mobility are accommodated with hard standing car parking, wheelchair access and automatic target changers on the indoor and airgun ranges.
